** WE DO NOT HAVE TEXTING CAPABILITIES ANYMORE **

We have real office phones!!
Same number 570-394-6602, but the downfall is that with real phones we have lost the ability to send and receive text messages and photos.

We are working on our office organization and are excited to have added Allison to the crew, who is happy to help you book appointments!

Kendyll, our daughter, is your go to person for any billing related questions, concerns or inquirys.

We also have the capability to transfer calls to myself (Sarah) or to Randy where you can leave a message if we are not available.

Kendyll and I have been doing our best to keep up but we are so happy to have these additions to our business.

Please have patience with us as we are learning the new phones and their capabilities.

HUGE SHOUTOUT TO OUR CREW!
These guys are working so hard, long hours, in the cold temps and I am beyond proud of their dedication, work ethic and teamwork!
Thank you guys for being absolute ROCKSTARS!!

The cold temps are here to stay for what looks like the entire month of February. Here are a few things we have been seeing a lot of, that might save you from having to call us or another hvac company:

1 - DO NOT TURN YOUR HEAT DOWN OR OFF.
Examples we have seen this week:

A - My gas bill was high and I wanted to save money.
** When your pipes freeze, any money you may have saved is going to be spent of thawing/repairing those pipes.

B - I always turn it down at night when I sleep, or when I leave for work but it doesnt seem to be working.
** Turning it down for 6 -8 hours will make your system work extra hard during these cold temps to get it back to the temp you want it and it will take awhile... only to start all over again when you go to sleep or work. Again, also taking the chance that things could freeze.

C - I went away for a week so I turned it off.
** From November - March, this is never a good idea and if the temps will be below freezing any of the days you are gone, never turn your system completly off ever. The consenquesces will certainly be catastrophic.

2 - Keep those faucets dripping. Write a note and leave it by the sink/tub so you do not forget. Pipes that have never frozen before are freezing.
You must drip both hot and cold, it does not need to be a full stream of water, just dripping.

3 - Check for drafts under windows near baseboard and in basement spaces with any water or boiler lines. Once a section of baseboard has froze, your system can no longer pump the water through, leaving you with no heat. Anywhere where air can seep through is causing problems. Moblie homes - keep drafts out from under your home (bales of hay/straw, insulation board, etc) it doesn't take much of this temperature air to freeze pipes quickly.

4 - For LANDLORDS -

A - Tenant basic mechanical education is important:
- Make sure your main water shutoff is clearly labeled, make sure it actually works and make sure your tenant knows where it is and how to use it.
- Make sure tenants know how damaging the cold weather can be to your property and educate about frozen pipes, heat settings, filter replacement, not running out of oil/propane, not turning off utilities without your knowledge, etc.
- For properties with steam boilers - we highly recommend an auto feeder but if you do not have one, make sure your tenants knows how to fill the boiler and read the gauge. Make sure they also know which valves to use and which ones not to.

B - Vacant propertys must have heat if they have not been winterized. Every apartment must have heat even if it is inside a complex.

This has certainly been a brutal winter so far! Stay safe!!

Please be aware that with the potential of heavy snowfall early Sunday - early Monday, the safety of our crew is a priority.
Our on-call services will not be available through the duration of the storm.
As soon as we get plowed out on Monday, we will continue services starting with the most emergent with a limited crew of who can make it in.
Please follow the tips in the post just prior to this, any form of backup heat will be helpful just in case you lose heat and no one can get to you for a duration of time.

Stay safe and stay warm!

Preparation will be very important for the upcoming stretch of frigid temps!
With the possible snowstorm travel could be difficult or not possible, especially for our service trucks.

Prevention of Frozen or Burst Pipes:

DRIP YOUR FAUCETS – if you only want to drip one, make it is the farthest from your water meter or well tank

INSULATE – Insulate exposed or unconditioned water pipes. Make sure mobile homes have proper skirting, cover any area that can get direct cold air through

DISCONNECT HOSES – Make sure water is off at any outside garden hoses, make sure all hoses are disconnected from the outside spicket

SEAL DRAFTS AND CLOSE WINDOWS – Close off unconditioned spaces (crawlspaces or under porches that lead to basements if the are no water pipes ran). Secure, close or seal basement windows… we see an incredible amount of broken or open basement windows that people never checked or didn’t know about.

Heating System:

TRY TO HAVE A SECONDARY SOURCE OF HEAT – Anything that can get you by for a couple of days if need be. Fireplace, space heaters, Eden pure, Stove… anything to keep you warm and your pipes to not freeze.

SET IT AND FORGET IT – Set your thermostat a little higher than normal and keep it there, do not turn it down while away or at night. If you have zones in your house that you normally have off or keep low, make sure you turn them up.

CLEAN OR REPLACE YOU AIR FILTER – A blocked or dirty filter can make your furnace or heat pump struggle to keep up or maintain temperature

INTERIOR VENTS – Make sure all air vents are open and returns are not covered

EXHAUST VENTS – If we do get a lot of snow make sure the vents are free and clear of any snow or ice

OUTDOOR HEAT PUMPS – Again, with a lot of snow, make sure your outside condenser is free and clear of snow and ice

OIL AND PROPANE – If your furnace or boiler runs off oil or propane, make sure your tanks are full. You will go through more than normal with temperatures staying below freezing for weeks at a time. ** Also, if your oil tank is outside, you may want to consider adding more oil treatment to avoid gelling.

Please stay safe and stay warm!!

Copper went missing on 7/5/2025 between 9:30 - 10pm on Varners Hollow Rd, Berwick.

Varners Hollow is a dense tree and brush filled road with creek beds on each side for a ways.
We have searched all creek beds, drove a 10 mile radius around where he went missing, talked to the neighbors and walked tons of miles through the woods, fields and hills without a single sighting by anyone.

Copper is an 8 months old Field Bred Golden Retriever.
He is microchiped and is wearing a collar with planets on it, the clasp has his name and Kyler Krumenaker s phone number. You call call or text either myself or Kyler at any time!
