Volunteers are needed every day of the week from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. on nights declared Code Blue. Shifts are divided as follows, and volunteers may sign up for one or multiple shifts:

8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. (12 hours)

8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (4 hours)

12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. (8 hours)

12:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m. (4 hours)

4:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. (4 hours)

We ask that two volunteers be present for each shift.

This is a good illustration of what happens when a frost proof style outdoor faucet freezes. When the temps drop below freezing it is crucial that you make sure all water hoses are disconnected from the outdoor faucets.
