The Berwick Community Garden is participating in the annual , a 30-day fundraising challenge running from November 15 to December 15, and we would really appreciate your support.

Eight hours of canning the last of what came out of the garden before before our hard frost earlier in the week. I made green tomato relish and green tomato chutney. We eat a lot of curries and we love some yogurt and chutney on top. This ought to get us through till harvest next year. We love eating organic and local❣️

It was a challenge since I gave away all my canning stuff before we left Oregon. We have an induction stove so I have limited pans. I made it work using my InstaPot on the sauté setting with the lid just barely on and the oven to heat the jars. Where there is a will…🤗

Hopefully you already have your hard neck garlic planted from certified seed garlic. This is important information about a potentially disastrous pest coming in on Mexican and Chinese garlic which should never be planted anywhere.
