Over 50 years ago, physicist,Dr. Judy Harte, starting training in Wado Ryu, transitioning into Wadokai. Her dojo in Berkeley has been running for over 25 years and many of us in the area have trained with her. She is a steadfast source of knowledge and encourages each one of us to continue training to our full potential. Today is Halloween. Today is Sensei Judith Harte's 75th birthday. Wadokai Berkeley celebrates and salutes Sensei Judy Harte and all she has done for so many, both in karate and in her community.

Apparently there are no classes unless the shelter-in-place is removed in order to reduce the spread of airborne diseases, especially the coronavirus. For now, order is in effect until April 3. Practice on your own?

Jan 1, 2020 class changed to 4-5:30 pm. Wed classes at Emeryville dojo will resume at 6:30-8 pm next week. May this be a great year!
