Craftsman Decks at the 2025 Deck Expo in Las Vegas. Discovered some great new products and made some really great contacts as well. Hung out with TimberTech at Top Golf, and then with Trex at the 1923 Prohibition Bar, a hidden speakeasy in the Ventian Hotel. Work hard play hard

This was another 10 day build, but at 420 sq ft it took some OT. So proud of my boys for working by my side until the job was done, and what a reward to see the finished product with such a beautiful sunset @ El Sobrante, California

“Coastline” PVC decking from Azek with hidden fasteners and a horizontal modern slat fence for privacy. PVC decking is said to be a little less heat absorbent than composite decking for all you bare-footer walkers out there 🐾

Stainless steel cable railing with Ipe (pronounced E-pay), an exotic hardwood from Brazil. Very dense wood, nicknamed Iron wood, lasts 70 years. When the job is done, so are your saw blades and drill bits 😄
