Last week, we participated in ’s Greenbuild conference at UC Berkeley.

We were proud to contribute greenery to the event by providing planters for the outdoor coffee and gathering area, helping create a more welcoming space for attendees to connect, recharge, and share ideas.

The conference also kicked off with a happy hour at Helen Diller Anchor House, where guests gathered beneath our impressive 13-story twin living walls. Seeing these spaces come alive with conversation, collaboration, and community is always rewarding.

Thank you to everyone we met throughout the week. We enjoyed connecting with industry partners who share our passion for bringing nature into the built environment.

Events like these are a reminder that great projects start with great conversations.

A living wall on the side of a home isn’t something you see every day—especially one that wraps around the corner like this.

Inspired by nearby ocean waves, flowing bands of blue Senecio ripple across the wall, giving the planting a sense of motion

Because of the coastal exposure, the palette leans on hardy species that can handle salt spray and shifting conditions, layered with pollinator-friendly geraniums and warm accents of Aeonium and Haworthia.

Framed by ipe wood cladding, the whole thing reads like a living painting.

Even better: this is one of our older installations, and it’s still going strong! Proof that when they’re designed right, living walls last.

Thirteen years since install, and this living wall at Westfield Century City is still thriving. Standing 22’ wide by 35’ high, it remains one of our proudest installations in Southern California.

It’s a reminder of how biophilic design can bring vitality, texture, and a sense of calm into the heart of a bustling shopping destination.

In a city defined by concrete, glass, and movement, living walls like this reconnect people with nature in an immediate, tangible way.

At 2201 Westlake in Seattle, a living wall flows through the lobby like a river of greenery, inspired by the movement of Puget Sound.

Bold streaks of Ficus ‘Ruby’ and golden pops of Philodendron brighten the space, while ferns soften the edges.

Living wall installations like this filter the air, quiets noise, and gives visitors a true breath of fresh air downtown.

Inside the dramatic “canyon” corridors of 200 Park, this sculptural planter pulls the landscape indoors.

Inspired by the converging rivers of San Jose and the tonal shifts of nearby mountainsides, a “river” of baby’s tears winds through crushed black slate—contrasting exposed stone with luminous green groundcover.

Maidenhair and autumn ferns soften the edges with layered texture, while liriope brings seasonal purple blooms that echo the exterior landscape by James Corner Field Operations. Farfugium anchors the planting, and olive and Shady Lady trees rise between the windows—giving the space the quiet feeling of a forest floor tucked inside the city.

In a redwood park in the middle of downtown SF—right next to the Transamerica Pyramid—’s “EarthSeed Dome” is a living, site-responsive structure.

The dome is constructed from 3D-printed, seed-infused soil blocks, fabricated using robotic arm technology.

By installing live plants and moss, we help initiate the next phase—transforming the structure into a living system that will shift and grow over time.

As spring and summer unfold, embedded seeds will bloom and disperse, extending the sculpture’s impact beyond the park.

The sculpture is on view through July 2026.

“Growth for Tomorrow” by David Brenner is rooted in Sunnyvale’s orchard history—plums, peaches, apricots—translated into living color.
