While I wasn't the designer/planner for the initial layout...I agree with this change! Makes it flow much better and no awkward space. Luckily the existing spacing worked with that bank of drawers and I didn't have to make something new! There will be floating shelves above that space to the right of the tall cabinet.

Day 2 install..finished up the mudroom cabinets and got the kitchen perimeter installed for the most part. Have to add the dishwasher panel and the island will be made of white oak and will be installed later. Still working on the doors/drawer faces and will be adding crown molding.

With the help of The Berkshire's, Michael and I got all the cabinet carcasses and drawer boxes over to their new house (next door) and made some progress on installing. Will pick it up again tomorrow. Still working on gluing up and the doors and drawer faces and a few other things. Still have to make all their white oak pieces too but wanted to get the paint grade stuff installed so I could free up space in the shop.

Forgot to grab pics once done, but luckily my client snapped these few for me. Installed this laundry room today. The tall double doors on the far left are a pantry cabinet with adjustable height pull-outs. Lots of storage plus a mudbench on the right side. They are getting a stackable washer and dryer delivered tomorrow and plan to have it painted along with repainting their kitchen soon. Will post full updates pics once all is finished.

Got this maple vanity with inset doors and faux drawer installed today! Custom stain mix of Minwax Jacobean and African Walnut, topped with Varathane Red Oak. The moodiness in the powder bath meant not good lighting for pictures so I had to have AI clean away the shadows and glare from my flash

Got another guest room queen murphy bed built-in installed! This room has 12' ceilings so we decided to match the top window trim at just over 10'. The wall is almost 12' wide. Brought the bed depth out to 20" to add a headboard ledge with a recessed power strip since the only outlet on the wall was behind the bed. Painted in SW Alabaster (satin)
