Watering your lawn every day in the summer may be doing more harm than good.

Frequent, shallow watering encourages weak root systems and can lead to disease. Water deeply and infrequently, applying about 1 inch of water per week, including rainfall, spread over two or three irrigation events. Watering in the early morning is ideal.

If you hear this squishy sound while walking outside. It's still too wet to mow, even with the hot sun. I will get y'all caught up, asap. But I promise you'd rather a few more days of tall grass than a yard lined with hidden ruts 😁.

Good to see! Above average precipitation is likely in Texas in the medium range 6-10 day outlook! While it may be accompanied by severe weather at times, it is good to see the pattern put up a fight against the drought and fire danger.
