Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales and Customer Service Representative who will serve as a key liaison between our clients, suppliers, and internal team. This role involves guiding clients through the product selection process, managing orders, and ensuring all materials and finishes align with the customer’s design vision, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Work directly with clients to understand their home design preferences and assist in product selections (lighting, flooring, fixtures, etc.)
• Research, source, and compare products and materials for quality, pricing, and availability
• Prepare detailed pricing proposals and product comparisons for client review
• Place and track orders with vendors, ensuring accurate specifications and timely delivery
• Inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy; coordinate any necessary returns or exchanges
• Maintain organized records of all selections, specifications, and purchase documentation
• Manage and update inventory of materials and finishes
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal project managers on order status
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the build process, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly
Qualifications
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or purchasing (construction or homebuilding industry preferred, but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft OneNote and Excel/project management software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of residential construction materials and design trends is a plus
