Shooting Star Bones Rhythm bones players Mardeen & Randy Gordon have been manufacturing Shooting Star Bones and teaching bones playing techniques since 1983.

They sound like castanets
They look like incense holders
They’re held kind of like chopsticks
But they’re unlike anything you’ve ever played before. They are probably the oldest instrument known to man,
literally thousands of years old, and found on every continent. Even before we stretched a skin across a bowl to make a drum,
we learned to bang two sticks together.
