Grout is the step that makes a tile job look finished.

Here’s the same shower before and after grout. Clean lines, consistent joints, and the right grout color bring the whole design together. Every detail counts.

We tore out all the tile, the backer board, and the old pan and started from scratch.

Here’s how we rebuilt it:
• Built a new custom shower pan
• Installed 1/2” waterproof foam board
• Added Kerdi waterproofing membrane over the pan and 3 ft up the walls
• Set 12x24 Scavo White on the lower walls and 12x12 Antique Aurea Gold on the diagonal up top
• Finished it with a Gold Nero basketweave accent band, 2” matte hex floor, a polished Black Marquina curb, and black matte trim

What you see is the tile. What protects the home is everything underneath it.

We installed Slate California Gold Large Architectural OC on this fireplace surround.

The natural slate brings warm gold tones and rich texture, and the large-format pieces give the wall a bold, architectural look. Every piece was laid out and set by hand so the color and texture flow evenly from top to bottom.

Our part of this kitchen was the backsplash.

We used two tiles from the Quartzite Sepia line:
-3x12 glazed ceramic wall tile for a soft, glossy finish
-A matte herringbone mosaic for a textured feature section
