Finished another!! Sorry I missed a lot of the middle part of the build but here is the end. 12x14 deck with a 5x4 landing and a 5’ wide set of stairs. Trex clamshell decking with hidden fasteners and deckorators aluminum railing. We had to use two beam systems as per code we could not hang of a cantilever on the house without support. Another one bites to dust! 14x16 deck with a 4x4 landing and set of stairs. Composite decking with hidden fasteners on main deck, the landing was on a 45 so we had to face screw it down. Well I missed a couple of photos on the progress 🙃 but here is what we got!! The old deck is gone, we filled the holes from the old ledger board with silicon and then painted it. We cut the new ledger to fit, spaced it from the house 1” using composite. Built the box of the deck to lay out the holes and dug 5 holes 12”x36”. Tomorrow we pour!!
