Batterman and Co., Inc. (Batterman), is a full-service engineering, planning, and surveying firm. Our team of dedicated professionals has successfully completed numerous projects over the years serving our valued state, municipal and private sector clients in the Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois areas. Projects we work on include urban reconstruction projects, rural highways, interstate in

terchanges, roadway rehabilitation, roadway widening, turn lanes, culvert replacement/upgrades, drainage structure replacements, small bridge designs, hydraulics and hydrology projects, realignments, erosion control, traffic management, intersection upgrades, multimodal facilities, wetland delineation, and wetland mitigation. Many projects have been for local units of government (cities, villages, townships, and county agencies) and others have been coordinated through WisDOT. In addition to previous WisDOT design, Batterman has also provided construction management services to WisDOT for over 20 years.

Today was signing day for Will Erickson from Beloit Turner High School, our intern this year from the Rock Internship program through Blackhawk Technical College. We are excited to welcome Will to our team for the next six weeks, as he learns and assists our construction management and surveying crews!

We are grateful for the opportunity to work with the Rock Internship program each year to offer a local high school student the chance to explore engineering and surveying careers with this hands-on approach.

A special thank you to Kevin Saxe, construction project manager, for mentoring Will throughout his time with us.

Today, we recognize Ryan Rudzinski, PE, who is celebrating 19 years with Batterman! As a Senior Design Project Manager, Ryan has brought extensive experience and expertise in managing municipal transportation and WisDOT projects. His nearly two decades with Batterman have significantly contributed to our success.

Ryan, we sincerely appreciate your unwavering dedication and the mentorship you provide to your team. Thank you for all that you do! We're excited to see how our success continues to grow together!

Congratulations to Shawn Campbell on celebrating his fourth anniversary with Batterman's drafting design team! Shawn is one of our most versatile engineering technicians and is willing to jump in wherever he is needed. In addition to his various drafting projects, he performs erosion control inspections, captures drone footage and images of our projects, and helps manage our fleet.

Shawn, you are an all-around terrific team member, and we are truly grateful to have you on our team. Thank you for your kind heart, hard work, and commitment!

Here's a shout-out to Mike MacDougall for celebrating his second anniversary as an engineering technician with Batterman! "Mac" quickly became a tremendous asset to our construction management team, leveraging his strong attention to detail and project management skills to assist on a multitude of roadway and site development projects over the last two years.

Mac, it's been a great pleasure to have you on our team, and your work ethic and commitment are truly appreciated. We look forward to working and growing together far into the future!

Today, we celebrate Jim Toberman's 20 years with Batterman! Jim began his journey with Batterman as an intern in the summer of 2004. He joined our survey crew full-time in 2006 after completing his Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Madison College. Now, as a seasoned professional, Jim manages our construction staking services and team, and mentors new interns every summer!

Jim has certainly seen a lot of change in the Surveying industry over the past 20 years. Here is what he had to say about his time with Batterman: "Over my 20 years at Batterman, I have learned so much and made more friends than I would have ever thought possible in an entire lifetime, let alone only half of my lifetime. I have had countless mentors along the way who have shared their wisdom and advice without hesitation. I cannot think of a better place to be for 20 years!"

Jim, your skills, experience, leadership, and positive spirit have made a huge impact on Batterman's success. Thank you for your remarkable 20 years of commitment and service to our team and industry!

Congratulations to Teryn Revels on celebrating her first anniversary with Batterman today! Teryn has been a terrific addition to our team as an Administrative Operations Assistant, handling tasks efficiently and eager to help in any way she can. We asked Teryn about her first year with Batterman, and this is what she had to say:

“I can’t believe it’s already been a year; time really flies when you’re having fun! When I first started, I was wrapping up my accounting degree and had about a year of experience. I’m so grateful Batterman took a chance on me. What I love most is how much everyone here truly cares, both about the work we do and the communities we serve. It makes coming to work every day really meaningful. On top of that, the work-life balance here is something I really appreciate. I’ve also been lucky to have such supportive coworkers who’ve helped me learn and grow so much over the past year. Thank you for an amazing first year. I’m so excited for what lies ahead. Here’s to many more years at Batterman!”

Teryn, we’re glad you said “yes” to working with us! Your positive spirit and commitment are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to many more years of it!

Zion Avenue reconstruction site in Janesville, Jeff went above and beyond to help a resident navigate safely home with her groceries. Thank you, Jeff, for your kindness and dedication!

Today, we recognize Colten Tuescher, PE, as he celebrates his 11th anniversary with Batterman. Over these years, Colten has established himself as a leading construction project manager, successfully overseeing numerous Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and municipal roadway projects. Earlier this year, he received the WisDOT Excellence in Concrete Paving Award for his work as Project Engineer on the US 51/Center Avenue project in Janesville. This summer, Colten continues to demonstrate outstanding leadership as he manages the Mt. Zion Avenue reconstruction project and the upcoming R***r Avenue project in Janesville.

Colten, we truly appreciate your strong work ethic and commitment. We look forward to you leading many more projects for Batterman in the future!

Congratulations to Ryan Burke on celebrating 5 years with Batterman today! As an engineering technician, Ryan is a great asset to our transportation design team, providing cost estimates and utility coordination, among many other tasks. Most recently, he's been working on STH 39, Lawson School Road, and the 700 Club Road, to name a few.

Ryan, we thank you for your teamwork and commitment, and we are glad to have you on our team! We're looking forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with you.
