Follow along for the latest Jacobus-of-all-trades episode of “Handy thyself, Handyman!” In this episode, we explore a 100 year old enclosed wall porch that had no water displacement. Therefore, the deck boards, beam and other supports are rotted away, and evidence of half hearted repairs were attempted!

Added more lighting and an outlet to a clients garage, replaced a garage door seal and gutter guards to the gutters!

Landlord wanted the LVP on an old house kitchen floor pulled up and sheet linoleum installed in its place. Found them 15’ wide piece and glue it down and trimmed it out. New renters are happy with it.

Fun little project that I had to baby step through. Added hinges to a fence panel, added bracing, then cut the panel in two to make a gate out into the service alley in the neighborhood! It was neat to see it work out!
