Check out this large backyard pond FULL of both wildlife and muck!🪷🐸🤢

From Gastonia, NC— we’re getting down and dirty restoring this large, naturally-inspired ecosystem pond with a thorough drain and cleanout.

In addition to removing the hundreds of tadpoles as well as a HUGE snapping turtle— we’re tasked with upgrading the current system with a brand new BioFalls and skimmer to make maintenance a breeze!

Look who we found… 🐢🪷

The neighbors had mentioned they’d seen this snappy boi out wandering the streets…

Lo and behold— we found him chilling in the cool and refreshing muck that we were trying to remove from this backyard pond!

Thankfully, we were able to safely relocate him back to the nearby creek so we could finish our cleaning without fear of disturbance.

… but something tells me that this isn’t the last we’ll see of him!👀
