This 2025 project is a traditional timber frame carport built for a client in Alaska. We supplied and fabricated over 6,000 board feet of Douglas-fir glulam and 3,000 board feet of solid-sawn purlins, added custom steel post bases for seismic loads, then prefinished it and shipped it up from the shop.

A recent multi-level timber-framed deck and trellis project, with full fabrication and installation handled by our team. We delivered 1,400 linear feet of Premium Architectural Class Douglas fir glulams and 1,000 board feet of solid-sawn Douglas fir purlins. The frame was pre-fit in the shop to ensure a smooth raising, then craned into place as a clean, layered assembly.

A summer 2025 project took us to Halperin Park in Dallas, Texas, where our team supported the on-site raising of the Bandshell Canopy. Built in collaboration with our partners at StructureCraft and McCarthy Building Companies, this 4,000-square-foot pavilion anchors a 5.5-acre cap park designed to help reconnect nearby neighborhoods.

The irregular hybrid timber structure features double-curved glulam arches reaching 30 feet tall and spanning 56 feet, stabilized with steel cross bracing and curved steel purlins that support the cladding. The glulam columns arrived in three pieces and were field-joined on site, which made planning the installation sequence crucial. Designed to provide shade and enhance acoustics for performances, the canopy creates a striking focal point for concerts and community events.
