Kozy Heat Chaska Day! We were able to convert this fireplace from an inefficient wood burning fireplace to a high efficient gas direct vent insert! The gas direct vent insert not only bolsters more heat but also contains all fumes to the exterior and seals off the chimney from any elements entering the home! These also may qualify for a tax rebate depending on your local utility company! Contact us today for a quote on converting your masonry chimney!

What started as a routine fireplace inspection quickly uncovered serious interior and exterior safety concerns. Behind the fireplace doors, combustible materials had begun to ignite—well outside of required safety clearances.

The good news? We brainstormed a cost-effective repair solution that restored the fireplace surround without major demolition, saving the homeowners time and money while bringing everything back up to code.

To complete the upgrade, we installed a Real Fyre Rustic Oak gas log set along with a brand-new gas line for safe, reliable performance.

This fireplace is now fully safe, functional, and ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.

If you’re unsure whether your fireplace is safe to use, an inspection can make all the difference. 🔥

Electric Day! This homeowner just needed some help with installation of a homeowner provided electric fireplace. Framing into the room for some definition and adding shiplap, recess TV box, and their electric fireplace we were able to finish this from start to finish!
