As we head into fall, it’s a good time to look back at a project that started with a storm.
When a neighbor’s tree came through the roof of this Kirkland home during the November 2024 storm, the family suddenly had a very different kind of project on their hands.
There was the immediate question of making the house safe. Then came the longer list: What could be saved? What needed to come out? And how do you put a home back together while you’re living through all of that?
Storm restoration is different from a remodel, and we were up for the challenge. We were there within days to stabilize the house, and the work continued from there. From structural repairs and roofing to siding, bathrooms, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and drywall.
We tried to make sense of what happened, piece by piece, and we loved being able to make the house feel like home again.
