A treated wood deck is an average of $8 to $15,000 investment for a homeowner depending on size and structure. Treated wood needs 45 days to weather prior to being finished. Deck stains and paint must be applied with temps above 55 degrees for 3 to 5 days for best coverage and to prevent peeling or blistering.

Now is the time to get one of your biggest investments ready for winter to maintain its life and usability. We provide a survey of your deck for tightening of loose boards, replacement of bad boards, power washing, and deck finishing based on the needs of your project.

Call today for your FREE project review to get ready for Winter.

Now is the time to plan the next steps for your wood deck or porch maintenance program. With the heat of summer, you want to hold off on staining/painting your deck until the fall when the temperature moderates. The warmer it is the more likely the pores in the wood are fully expanded and more likely to drink in the finish requiring you to purchase and apply 1.5 to 2 times more than needed for coverage in milder temperatures.

NOW is the time to repair or replace any damaged wood in the deck. New treated wood requires 45 to 60 days to weather before a finish can be applied. Without allowing the wood to weather the new finish will bubble up over the surface and look horrible ruining your investment of product and labor providing no protection from cold and hot weather.

A good maintenance plan will help extend the life, look, and usability of one of your biggest investments for your home. Call if you need help planning or implementing the tasks required. The last thing you want is a deck that has to be rebuilt or replaced adding to your annual home expenses.

Is it those little repairs that you can see every day or your kids that are most annoying? Some days it is a toss-up, but most days it's a home repair issue that you have to look at and just not sure what to do with it.

In this case, the homeowner tried to fix the broken tile themselves and ended up with a bigger hole in the wall and a dent in the top of the stove than what they had to start with. They continued to stare at the issue for another 15 months until a friend suggested they call Quick Fix to provide a FREE review of the issue to provide options and pricing to resolve.

The homeowner emailed a picture of the issue and we provided budgets for a repair and sent a few sample colors of tile in stock with some open dates. With the budget being less than what they were anticipating, they scheduled the repair and it was complete a few days later. Now, mom only has to deal with the kids. Do you have a few annoying home repairs? Call to ask for a FREE project review or joint us at www.quickfixnow.com to ask the expert.

Has anyone seen my contractor? 25% of the work Quick Fix completes for clients is to step in to finish a project someone else started and quit showing up for. In this small bath, there was a bad section of the sub-floor between the toilet and the tub that needed to be replaced from a water leak. It took the original contractor 6 days to get the Bath to this condition and then he quit showing up.

When Quick Fix met with this client they decided to proceed with a Bath upgrade in lieu of spending almost the same money as it would take to fix what had been taken out. A new client-provided tub was set with the subfloor replaced, walls patched, finished, and painted with new client-provided flooring, vanity and toilet set in place with new mirror and toilet room accessories installed completing the repair and transformation to a new Bathroom.

Do you have a contractor MIA on your project? Or ready to make a transformation in your Bathroom? Call us to ask the expert or join us at www.quickfixnow.com to get your project back on track or out of the gate.
