So I went on a service call today for a hot tub “ not working.”
The owner had recently hired the spa company to move the tub to a different location on the patio.
What I saw was the attached photo…… these IDIOTS had moved the tub, then stretched the 220v 60 amp electrical feed ACROSS the GROUND to the new location. Oops, the wire isn’t long enough…… lets make an OPEN SPLICE and THROW IT ON THE GROUND TOO!
Well…. The did wrap the spice in a TRASH BAG which did a WONDERFUL job of holding the 4” inches of rain we have had lately!
The power was turned on and the two non english speaking gentlemen left this DEATH TRAP to be found by the homeowner, a child….. who knows?
Luckily, the GFI did it’s job and shut it OFF!
I will be contacting the SPA COMPANY Monday to voice my opinion of their HIRING PRACTICES and qhality of customer care!
My crew and I will return and install the feed to NEC code in a few days.

Hi, I’m Eric - the Founder of BRUNT Workwear

A little over two years ago, I set out to build a company that makes high quality, comfortable work boots, at the best possible price.
