From plans to progress. 🏡✨

This one is officially underway!

What started as ideas on paper is now becoming reality. This project includes a new family room addition with a vaulted ceiling, along with updates to the kitchen and dining spaces to create a layout that works better for the homeowners.

The existing stoop is gone, the helical piers are installed, and construction has officially begun!

One of our favorite parts of residential design is getting to see something we've spent months drawing and visualizing finally start taking shape in the real world.

We'll be sharing this one as it progresses — stay tuned to see the rendering become reality! 👀

**WHEN THE DESIGN REVIEW GOES TOO SMOOTHLY… 🚨😂**

Client: *“Is this where the mechanical room is?”*

Me: 👀
**“Yep!”**

Also me, 30 seconds later:
**WAIT… WHERE IS THE MECHANICAL ROOM?!** 😂

And yes… I’ve also forgotten a refrigerator in a plan way back in the day. 🤦‍♀️

Here’s the thing: **even well-seasoned designers have those moments.**

Sometimes when everything is going *way* too smoothly, you start questioning everything:

*Is something missing?*
*Did I forget something?*
*Why is this going so easily?* 😂

Because when it feels **too easy… THAT’S when you know you better check the plans again.**
