🏠 BEFORE YOU DECORATE FOR THE HOLIDAYS… LOOK AT THE ROOM WITHOUT THE DECORATIONS.

The holidays have a way of making us see our homes a little differently.

Suddenly, the wall that has felt a little bare all year feels really bare.

The fireplace needs something.
The dining room could use more character.
That empty wall finally needs those floating shelves.

But here’s the thing:

You don’t necessarily need a remodel to make a room feel dramatically different.

Warm wood. A custom mantel. Floating shelves. Feature walls. Trim and molding. Thoughtful finish carpentry.

Sometimes one well-designed addition is all it takes to give a room the warmth and character it was missing.

And with Thanksgiving and the holidays approaching, now is the time to start planning…not the week before everyone arrives.

Have a space you’d love to finish before the holidays? We’d be happy to take a look.

🚪 THEY CLOSED OFF THE ROOM WITHOUT CLOSING OUT THE LIGHT.

That was the entire challenge.

The homeowners wanted the ability to separate this space…but they didn’t want to lose the natural light that flowed through the original opening.

So instead of simply adding doors, the design needed to accomplish both.

Glass French doors provide the separation.
A transom above keeps the light moving through the home.

And once everything was trimmed and finished, the new opening didn’t feel like something that had been added later.

It felt like it belonged there all along.

That’s what makes this transformation so good.

It isn’t just prettier.

The homeowners gained privacy when they want it, openness when they don’t, and natural light either way.

Same home. Smarter use of the space.

🔨 GOOD CRAFTSMANSHIP GETS NOTICED. GOOD CHARACTER GETS REMEMBERED.

At House & Hinge, LLC, we believe the way you treat people matters just as much as the work you leave behind.

Integrity. Attention to detail. Excellence in workmanship.

Those aren’t just words to us. They’re the standards we bring into every home.

We’re Jeff and Tina, a husband-and-wife team based in Prairie Grove. Jeff brings over 33 years of custom and finish carpentry experience, and together we’re building a company our neighbors can feel confident inviting into their homes.

Do exceptional work. Treat people right. Earn their trust.

We’re proudly serving Northwest Arkansas and would love the opportunity to earn your business.

🚨 THAT’S NOT A PAINT PROBLEM.

And another coat of paint wasn’t going to fix it.

The deterioration on these exterior columns was already visible. But repairing it correctly meant doing more than covering up what could be seen.

The deteriorated wood had to come out. The damaged areas had to be properly rebuilt. And the finished columns had to look like they belonged on the house — not like they had been patched together.

That last part matters.

Good exterior repair work should accomplish two things:

Correct the problem.
Restore the craftsmanship.

The before and after tells the story.

If you’re seeing soft wood, peeling paint, separation, cracking or deterioration around exterior columns or other exterior woodwork, don’t just cover it with another coat of paint.

Find out what’s causing it. Then repair it correctly.

⭐ “I AM SO THANKFUL TO HAVE FOUND HOUSE & HINGE.”

That stopped us.

Because there are a lot of ways someone can compliment your work.

Beautiful.
Professional.
Top-notch.

And we’re grateful for every one of them.

But when a homeowner says she’s thankful she found you, that means something different.

It means the experience mattered, too.

From the first conversation to the final detail, that’s the kind of company we’re working to build here in Northwest Arkansas.

One homeowners are glad they called.

And even more importantly…

one they’re glad they found.

Thank you, Joyce. We’re incredibly grateful you trusted House & Hinge with your home.

🔥 NO. THOSE DIDN’T COME WITH THE HOUSE.

But they look like they should have.

This couple wanted more than furniture pushed against a wall.

They wanted their home office to feel finished. Intentional. Built into the architecture of the room.

And THAT is exactly what custom built-ins should do.

Custom cabinetry.
Open shelving.
Thoughtful proportions.
Clean, detailed finish work.
Storage without sacrificing style.

The goal wasn’t to make the built-ins stand out.

It was to make them look like they had always belonged there.

And yes… we may be a little obsessed with how this one turned out. 🤎

🔨 THE JOB DOESN’T START WHEN WE GET TO YOUR HOUSE.

Sometimes it starts right here.

Choosing the right materials. Checking the lumber. Looking for warping, twisting, damage and defects before it ever makes it onto the truck.

Because the quality of a finished project depends on a lot of decisions homeowners never see.

And those decisions matter.

The right material.
The right approach.
The right tools.
The right preparation.

Craftsmanship isn’t just what happens when the saw comes out.

It’s knowing what to choose before the first cut is ever made.

That’s part of doing the job right.

❤️ THIS IS WHAT HOUSE & HINGE IS REALLY ABOUT.

We see more than a beautiful living room with crown molding.

We see the room where the whole family will gather for Christmas.

We see more than a new deck.

We see grandkids outside with their toys, bare feet, fresh air and an entire afternoon ahead of them.

We see more than a built-in.

We see shelves that will eventually hold family photos, favorite books and pieces of a life being lived.

And we see more than lumber, tools and something that needs to be put together.

We see moments like this.

Because craftsmanship matters to us.
Doing things correctly matters to us.
Beautiful homes matter to us.

But the people who get to live in them matter even more.

A house is made of walls, doors, trim and lumber.

A home is made of moments.

And at House & Hinge, we never forget the difference.

🔨 ANYONE CAN GIVE YOU A PRICE.
NOT EVERYONE SHOULD BE WORKING ON YOUR HOME.

Before you hire someone, there are a few things that should already be in place.

The skill set to do the work.
The proper tools and equipment.
The license to perform it.
The insurance and workers’ compensation to operate responsibly.

At House & Hinge, those aren’t extras.

They’re the baseline.

We don’t accept a project and figure out how to do it afterward.

When we say yes to a job, it’s because we have the experience, equipment and capability to complete it properly.

And if something falls outside our scope?

We’ll tell you.

Because your home shouldn’t be someone’s practice project.

Skilled. Equipped. Licensed. Insured.

That’s what professional home improvement should look like.
