⚠️ This is NOT my work. I would never leave a yard looking like this. ⚠️
This is a good example of why the lowest price isn’t always the best value. Sometimes saving a few dollars up front ends up costing much more to fix later.
I completely understand that everyone wants to save money, but quality work, reliable service, and professional equipment all come at a cost.
Here’s something to think about: people often have no problem paying $100 or more for a haircut and color that takes an hour or two. And to be clear, I have nothing but respect for barbers and hairstylists—they work hard and deserve to be paid fairly. I’m only using it as an example.
At the same time, many lawn care professionals are expected to work for next to nothing while:
* Working long hours in extreme heat.
* Investing thousands of dollars in commercial equipment.
* Paying for fuel, maintenance, blades, trimmer line, insurance, and transportation.
* Driving to your property so you don’t have to go anywhere.
When someone offers to mow a yard for $20, there’s often a reason the price is that low. Sometimes the results speak for themselves.
At Scott’s Lawn Care, I take pride in doing the job right. I stand behind my work, and I charge fair prices that reflect the quality, time, and expense involved.
If you’re looking for the cheapest price, I may not be the right fit—and that’s okay. But if you’re looking for dependable, quality lawn care that treats your property with respect, I’d be happy to provide a free quote.
Please understand that I generally do not take mowing jobs under $50, regardless of yard size. My pricing reflects the cost of running a professional lawn care business and delivering work I’m proud to put my name on.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Scott’s Lawn Care. Your business is truly appreciated.
