The de Cardenas Residence is now Phius ZERO 2021 certified, designed for Climate Zone 6A and built to be all-electric with PV on site. It’s a small home with a big comfort curve. Quiet. Even. Fresh-air-on-purpose.

GO Logic is hiring a Senior Licensed Architect.

If you care about high-performance buildings and you’re done trying to convince clients it matters, you’ll like this. Our clients come to us for durable, beautiful, energy-efficient homes. Your job is to lead the design and help people understand what it will be like to live in a house that performs.

The design-build loop is real here. Designers work directly with our in-house shop drawing team and stay in regular contact with the builders in our shop and on site. Details don’t disappear between drawing and construction.

This is a full-time role, and it has a path into design team manager.

Internally, we sometimes call the LOGIC Home “the very pretty box”.

The form is intentionally simple a clear rectangular volume, a flat roof, and a porch that opens up one corner. That simplicity is doing a lot of work.

It means
• Less exterior surface area per square foot of interior
• Straightforward structure with less engineered lumber
• Fewer panel types and joints, which speeds up production and install

From the outside, you get a calm, modern profile. From the inside, you get a 3 bedroom, 2 bath plan that still feels generous in 1,250 square feet.

Simple form. Serious performance.

Before a single screw goes in, we know exactly where every panel belongs.
Smart labeling, shop-level QA, and crystal-clear install drawings are part of how we make Passive House performance repeatable and achievable in the field.

As we close out 2025, a lot of our excitement for 2026 is wrapped up in the LOGIC Home.
It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1,418 square foot home designed from the ground up for panelization and Passive House level performance, and it is about 20 percent more attainable than a comparable custom GO Logic home.
In the new year, we will share more detail about how it is built, who it is for, and how it can fit different sites and lives.
For now, we are feeling thankful for the team that brought it this far.

Our question going into this project was simple to say and hard to do
Could we create a GO Logic home that feels and performs like our work is known for, but is meaningfully more attainable than a fully bespoke build
