Just got back from dropping off a chair order just in the nick of time for Mother's Day. I have been pretty quiet on here lately. I've been building quite a few chairs and I've posted several pics of those styles, so I didnt repost, but these were different. Custom. Cousin Amy Dyer Drinkwater had seen my base model chairs and liked them but asked if I could customize a couple of taller chairs for her parents that may be even easier to get out of than the base model. I accepted the challenge and here is the end result. Now I have to come up with a name for this style chair that is now available. The 4th pic shows the difference in the original base model chair and this new style.

A customer had a bookcase/hutch she wanted to repurpose into a pantry. We collaborated and this is what we came up with. This style cabinet gives the owner a lot of options. Full on bookcase look with doors off, hutch look with top doors off, pantry with all doors, and shelving/lighting options. This would be an easy new build also, if anyone is interested. Fun project making something old new again. Message me with your custom new or repurposing cabinetry ideas.

Merry Christmas and Happy new year from SCW. Thank you to all my customers I've had over the first 9 months since being forced to change over to this business earlier than expected. I haven't posted pics of projects lately because I have been very busy with a basement bar build and trying to fill Christmas orders (reveal pics coming soon. This is a couple pics of the new rockers).

My dad and I recently took a trip to a live edge supplier and they threw in a couple of cherry cookies because of the distance we traveled and they want us to come back. I like to draw and burn on these at night or in between drying times of bigger projects. I was going to sell this one, but can't see letting it go considering how many times I went by the Portland Head Light while I was stationed in South Portland, and I really like the knot and crack locations. Merry Christmas Jet!?! 😅
I do have the remaining cherry cookie available. Shown in last pic. This will sand up nice and look great on a big table. It would be a nice Christmas present with your camp, lake house, or lake, etc. and family name burnt in. Lots of options for two sides. I only have one cherry cookie left. (More cookies are in the works, but not likely to be cherry) If you are interested, let me know.
