It had some serious water damage that had taken a toll on both the roof and the insulation inside.

We removed the damaged material, replaced the roofing, and insulation to get this little building protected again and ready for the seasons ahead. 🏠

Many of you who follow ATG know that we’re a small, family-run business right here in our community. We’d love to ask you to show some support to another part of our family business, Spritz & Soul that is ran by my wife, Alicia. 💛

📢 IMPORTANT PHONE SERVICE UPDATE 🚨

If you have tried to call or text Against the Grain over the last few days and haven't received a response, or tried calling us and were told the number was disconnected, we are still here, and we are not ignoring you!

We have been affected by the ongoing Verizon network disruption in the Belfair area, which has also impacted our Straight Talk service that runs on Verizon towers.

Unfortunately, while trying to get the issue resolved, George's business phone number was accidentally changed by our carrier. 😩 They are currently working to recover and restore his original number.

Because this is the number connected to our business cards, customer contacts, current bids, and accounts, we know there may be customers trying to reach us who currently can't.

If you are waiting to hear from George about a bid, estimate, current project, or would like to schedule work, please message the Against the Grain page directly for the time being.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while they get this straightened out. We promise George didn't fall off the face of the earth. 😂

There’s something satisfying about watching years of buildup come off a roof. 🙌

This one was covered in pine needles, debris, and moss starting to take hold in the valleys and around the skylights. George got it cleaned up, cleared out, and treated to help slow future moss growth.

Roof cleaning isn’t just about curb appeal, all that debris traps moisture and let's moss start settling in where it shouldn’t. A good clean + moss treatment can help extend the life of the roof and prevent bigger issues later on. 🏡🌲
