Patio Resurfacing Option That Saves Big

If you are looking to reduce cost, resurfacing is a great way to eliminate that ugly concrete pour that did not turn out right without tearing everything out.

We use ReCap, an excellent concrete resurfacing system designed to restore and modernize worn or uneven slabs.

Process
• Full surface grind
• Thorough pressure wash
• Bonding primer applied to ensure proper adhesion
• Surface leveled and repaired with specialty repair mortar
• ReCap coating installed for a smooth, uniform finish

This option typically runs about 60 percent of the cost of new concrete, making it a smart alternative when the slab is structurally sound but visually rough.

Project Reference
For a 40 x 10 slab with extensive leveling and repair work, pricing typically lands in the $5,000 to $7,000 range, depending on condition and prep requirements.

Thank you for all of your votes. We are looking great for the Best of Kitsap 2025 awards in both the handyman category and the building repair and remodeling category.

None of this would be possible without my crew, my clients, and everyone who supports us online. I appreciate every single person who plays a part in our success. Seven years later we are working at a higher level and pushing harder than ever.

We have also partnered with The Found Ministry and donate a portion of our work to help people who are experiencing homelessness. Our founder was chronically homeless nearly a decade and a half ago, so rebuilding homes and restoring stability for families is something we take to heart. We believe in second chances and fresh starts in more than one way.

This week we tackled
The Rotten chimney and siding
Ordered New windows
Installed a New front fence and 2 gates
We Fire taped a garage
Completed Mitigation and fogging work from before the last roof was replaced. Now It looks like new inside, and then
Stained the front deck plus added new stairs.
And last but not least we cleaned out excess items and our left no trace of our construction mess

Here is the transformation we completed on a remodel in Port Orchard. What began as a simple bathroom project turned into a three quarter full home remodel when we located a leak from the Icemaker during the inital demolition. I helped them navigate insurance, and with a brand new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, carpet, doors, and trim it really came together. We also added a custom island with an incredible amount of storage and several thoughtful design upgrades.

The homeowners trusted us to choose most of the design elements and colors, which made this a really enjoyable project. This house had seen its share of questionable work in the past. In the kitchen alone we removed four layers of flooring, including mahogany tile, sheet vinyl, and two separate layers of LVP.

We completed a full electrical upgrade usng our awesome trusted electrians at dzeikan electric! They added can lighting, and made many other improvements that gave this home a value far beyond the cost of the remodel. None of this happens without our amazing team of craftsmen who take pride in turning a diamond in the rough into something special.
