Driveway installed on easement to customer's new homesite. Graded out, widened entrance to 30ft with new pipe, installed 30ft pipe at their 90 degree turn to allow water to pass underneath the driveway. Crowned for proper runoff. Used asphalt millings for base and topped with crushed concrete saving customer the crazy expense of gravel these days. Ogburn trucking delivered the materials used. Turned out nice!

Company in Winston-Salem had trees and vegetation growing in on their truck delivery area. Area was mulched back to property line and canopy was raised. And nothing to burn or haul away! Should be plenty of room for their trucks to navigate their area now. Also graded the corner of their lot to help move water off of their parking area. Turned out nice. Great to work for good people! Customer supplied drinks and great conversation!

Had a fun one today. Customer had planted trees on top of a main power line. Trees that were there, were diseased, so they had someone cut them down. We had it marked and the power line was pretty much on line with the stumps. So it required pre-digging by hand to locate the power. 4ft down and I never reached the line. But we still went slow with our smallest excavator to ensure we didn't cut the power. Slow going but.. better safe than sorry. I prefer hydraulics over wooden handles!

Never know what's hidden underneath stuff. In this case, a water drain pipe to keep this area from overflowing. Had I been mowing this with my skid steer or tractor.....well...I think we know!
