We’ve made a lot of progress with the work on the exterior this home. The upper shutters and the garage shutters have two coats on them. The porch shutters and front door get another coat. The white trim and garage door frame will also be getting two coats of paint. We did some repair work on the garage door frame today to get it ready for paint.

We had to rebuild the opening to get the new, larger door hung going into the laundry room. The original door opening wasn’t large enough for furniture to fit through it. We will put new molding around the frame so it blends in with existing trim in the room.
All of the patching in the living room has a third coat on it and is almost ready to sand, prime and paint it.

The finished product!! It took a lot of prep work, primer then two coats of paint but the fence is looking like new. It makes such a big difference in the curb appeal of the property. We have a few small things to finish on the main house then the job will be finished. We will put together the before, during and after pictures on an upcoming post.
