The old man still has some s***k left in him!! 🥵🤣

Our fearless leader, John, started interior demo on the Merrimack ADU solo, stripping all drywall, built-ins and windows in the garage. 💪🤙

It's out!! 🎉

Go grab yourself a copy of the Sept/Oct issue of New Hampshire Home Magazine (or just click the link). It's the annual Kitchen & Bath Showcase Issue. NH Home chose to feature our award-winning Bedford primary bath remodel in the showcase!

This is the third time Image Contracting has had a primary bath project featured in the Showcase issue. It is one of only 3 bathrooms and 6 total projects featured. What's more, one of our great colleagues Basswood Builders also has a gorgeous bathroom featured 🙂

We'd like to THANK our incredible trade partners who are also mentioned in the feature for their roles in turning this beauty out:
Northeast Custom Tile, LLC
Skeirik Door, LLC
Evan Jones, Master Electrician
Queen City Plumbing and Heating
1776 Painters, LLC
Valued Drywall and Finishing llc

Dive into our extensive resources on the topic that interests you. It's like a masterclass to be explored at your own pace.

Our major Windham project wrapped-up last week with the completion of the butler's pantry. This is the project where we also created a gorgeous 3/4 bath out of part of the home office. Photo-shoot is next week. Can't wait to get some good pics of these spaces to share 😍

Major progress on our emergency hall bath remodel that became an unanticipated part of our kitchen/1st Floor project 😥

Shower/tub/linen closet re-framed and tub installed, all plumbing re-worked properly, single vanity plumbing converted to double, underlayment added to subfloor, re-insulated with Rockwool, electric demo'd as-needed. Drywall was hung after these pics and is being taped/finished!

Quick check-in on the Nashua kitchen/1st Floor remodel (that now includes the 2nd floor hall bath!! -updating separately).

All roughs are complete and inspected (the inspector was impressed 😇). Drywall is hung and being taped/finished as we speak. Greenhouse window changed to double-hung. Next-up paint and flooring. Then we get rolling with the cabinets 🎉

** Rant Post incoming....

People don't believe this stuff happens. That all work is the same, only price differentiates. Newsflash: Reputation has value, and here's why.

This absolutely makes my blood boil!!! 🔥 This is bar-none, one of the worst "hack jobs" I have encountered in my career and I've seen a lot. This 2nd floor hall bath "remodel" is in our ongoing Nashua kitchen/first floor remodel project. The previous homeowners had it remodeled. The shower had been leaking into the kitchen ceiling since the day our clients moved in a year ago. We couldn't build a brand new kitchen without getting to the root of it. Our clients previously had a plumber out to find the leak. They could not. Our plumber tried to find the leak and could not. Until he sprayed water on the shower walls and it came through the open kitchen ceiling. Turns out, there was NO waterproofing behind the tile at all. Just cement board and tile. And the tile job was ATROCIOUS.

Then there was the plumbing itself: There were sharkbite fittings in the floor; the flex hose drain from the tub had all the excess crammed in a bunch under the tub; the drain which had been "re-worked" was all wrong and the pitch was bad- if you filled the tub, it drained into the shower; the tub filler had braided lines connected to an adapter IN THE FLOOR! The list goes on.

The "contractor" who did this should be in jail. They stole from the original homeowners and now they're stealing from our clients who have no choice but to do an emergency rebuild of this bathroom. We are working with them as best as possible, but this is still a $20k+ expense they were not planning on and shouldn't have to pay!

Here are some photos from the bathroom butcher job we are scrambling to rebuild so we can continue with the job we're there to do! These clowns stuck a 4' soaking tub and a tiny shower where there used to be a 5' tub/shower combo and linen closet. The tile job is an aesthetic abomination. Nevermind all the physical failures outlined in the previous video. Maybe the icing on the cake of nonsense is that even the light switch was installed upside down 🤦🤦🤦
