From vacant storefront to a modern specialty healthcare facility.

Sullivan Construction recently completed the adaptive reuse of a former Rite Aid into the new home of Eyesight Ophthalmic.

The renovation included demolition, slab saw cutting for new underground plumbing and electrical, metal framing, fire stopping, architectural millwork, and HVAC testing and balancing—transforming an existing retail space into a functional medical environment.

✔️ Completed under budget
✔️ Zero lost-time accidents

Adaptive reuse projects like this create new opportunities for existing buildings while delivering spaces designed to meet today's needs.

FAQ: What are General Conditions expenses?

It's a term you'll see in many construction proposals, but what does it actually mean?

General Conditions are the project costs associated with managing and supporting the jobsite throughout construction. These typically include the Superintendent overseeing day-to-day field operations, the Project Manager coordinating the project, and other project-specific costs required to keep the job running efficiently.

Understanding what's included helps eliminate surprises and gives you a clearer picture of where your investment is going.

At Sullivan Construction, we believe transparency is just as important as quality construction.

One of the most common questions we hear is:

"How long will my project take?"

The honest answer is: it depends.

Every project has its own unique scope, permitting requirements, procurement lead times, and construction challenges. That's why our team carefully evaluates every detail before developing a realistic project schedule you can rely on.

The earlier Sullivan Construction is involved, the more opportunities we have to identify potential challenges, improve scheduling, and help keep your project on track from day one.

If you're planning a commercial construction project, we'd be happy to start the conversation.
