Welcome to Double D Wood Processing. We offer firewood to heat your home no matter the size of your wood burner. You need wood? We got it! Give us a call today.

Our services also include wood for bonfires and fireplaces. Double D Wood Processing began in 2024. It all started when a couple of neighbors became awesome friends and realized that not only did we both need an abundance of firewood for the winter, but several of our family and friends were in need as well. Dan and Jordan Dice have grown up in our small town all their lives and have been wonderfu

l community members. They, like most, have a little family of their own that works hard to help show this generation that working hard for something you believe in can happen. Casey and Kara DeGayner grew up in a small town downstate and then worked in a big city over the years. When Covid struck, they realized life is too short to be stuck where you really do not want to be. They took a big leap after researching the area, quit their jobs, and bought a place next to the Dice's in their forever dream home. The two families quickly became not only friendly neighbors, they became family. They both work on each other's properties and help when asked. These are the people you want to call for your firewood needs (and hopefully more in the future!) because they understand the meaning of being a hardworking, good neighbor.

Cold weather tries to slow us down… doesn’t work. 😎

Kara, Casey, Dan, and Daniel finished one of our biggest orders yet — 20 face cord delivered and stacked for Michelle out in Alma, MI. Frozen fingers, sore backs, and a whole lot of teamwork.

We’re beyond thankful for our crew and our customers. Double D’s doesn’t stop when it’s cold — we just work faster to warm up. 😉🪵

Wow, Mother Nature sure loves to keep us on our toes here in Michigan. ❄️🌲

Yesterday, Kara and Casey had the privilege of delivering two more face cord of wood to Midland for one of our incredible returning customers, Brady. His very first order with us came during an emergency, and we were able to step in when it mattered most. Since then, he’s continued to rely on wood heat to help keep his mother warm after her home was suddenly lost to a fire.

Thank you, Brady, for trusting us and for allowing us to play a small role in helping you take care of your family. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. We’re more than just a wood processing company, we’re neighbors helping neighbors, and we’re truly grateful to be part of a community that looks out for one another.

What a way to end the year! 🤩

On the very last day of the year, Double D’s hit a huge milestone — we purchased our very first dump trailer! Casey and Kara traveled through this afternoon’s blizzard to Mid State Liquidators in Freeland, MI and found the deal we couldn’t say no to. 👍

2025 was a busy one for Double D’s. We’re incredibly grateful for our returning customers from year one, the new opportunities that came our way, and the steady growth that keeps pushing us forward. None of this happens without the support of our customers, family, and friends who show up, spread the word, and believe in what we’re building.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re excited for what’s ahead and ready to roll into the new year stronger than ever.

When you're building a business, you've got to roll with the punches. The ye old machines break, productive plans change, but your determination doesn't have to. Today was planned to cutting wood, but it's turned into a day of unexpected challenges. It's a recalculating kinda day, and we are choosing to make the most of it. ✌️

Wow, we can’t believe that we haven't posted since Thanksgiving! A lot has happened these past couple weeks. With the snow coming like crazy, we've been blessed with a surge of firewood requests. 🪵 🔥 🪵

Today Kara delivered and stacked 2 facecord out to the Lee Family in Hope, MI, spreading warmth and joy to their family gatherings this holiay season. We're deeply grateful for our customers and followers, whose unwavering support has been a beacon of hope. Sharing our name with your family and friends is the best way to do business, and we couldn't be more thankful.

We've been busy with orders, trying to get everyone warm for the winter! But today, we take the day off to be with our loved ones and remind ourselves what we're all thankful for.

Without our community, we wouldn't be able to keep growing and working towards our goals. So, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who has found a way to support us. Double D’s is partially veteran owned thanks to our co-owner Dan Dice. He is a hardworking human being, a wonderful husband, and father to three amazing kids in Beaverton, MI.

Double D’s is at it again! We have been busy little bees working on some of our larger orders one weekend at a time.

Today Kara and Casey delivered 6 face cord to Chris out in Beaverton. He is one of our loyal, reoccurring customers! Thank you for your continued support in our dreams. It means everything to us. ☺️

For our new potential customers, please note that we are backed up on orders till December. We are still a small business working on the weekends as much as we can. We appreciate everyone who reaches out. 👍

Busy busy hot as hell summer weekend! 🥵

Went over to the Sanford Stand on Sunday and added another face cord section with some bright yellow decals. The stands are restocked with two face cord! Bundles will be available again soon.

Sunday Funday over here at Double D’s!! 🪵

We conquered the day splitting up into teams.
Casey and Dan kicked out about 10 face cord this morning while Kara and Daniel made a delivery of 6 face cord. The truck loose filled holds about 2 face cord so the deliveries had to be swift!

By the time the morning was over, we got smart and hooked Dan up with some shade. 90 degree weather will make you sweat!!

We want to thank Dan out in Hope, MI for his order and appreciate his business. The whole family was out helping him stack faster than we could deliver! We appreciate your support for local small businesses. 👍
