Project Update: TSA – Clackamas Corps🚧

Fresh asphalt is down, along with new curbs and parking islands. It’s a noticeable milestone as the site work continues to progress.

There’s been plenty happening behind the scenes this week, too, including connecting the new fire line and continuing structural and seismic upgrades inside the building.

Follow along for more updates as we renovate this existing office building and make major site improvements to create a new home for The Salvation Army’s Clackamas Corps.

A big thank you to Grayson, Stacy, and Jordan for keeping the project moving, and to all of our trade partners for another great week on site!

In honor of October's Careers in Construction Month, we want to introduce Rylan!
He graduated from high school last year and joined Yorke & Curtis this summer as a laborer. He's working alongside Mike Quinn, who has been with Y&C for 29 years and has a lot of knowledge to pass on to the next generation of builders.
Pairing new talent with experienced craftspeople is how this industry keeps growing. Mike's decades of experience combined with Rylan's energy and willingness to learn is what builds strong careers and strong projects.
Thank you to Mike for being a mentor, and to Rylan for choosing to build with us.

Today we're celebrating Mike Quinn and 29 years with Yorke & Curtis 🎉
Few people have shaped our company the way Mike has. For nearly three decades he's been a steady presence on our jobsites. He's the person the team turns to for answers and for help, and the one who shows everyone what doing the job right looks like. Much of what Y&C stands for today (quality work, integrity, taking care of our clients and each other) was built with Mike's hands and heart.
Mike, thank you for your loyalty, your hard work and the example you set every day. You're a true pillar of this company, and we're grateful to build alongside you.
