⚡ Project Update: In-N-Out Burger Distribution Warehouse – Portland Metro Area⚡

It's not always easy to photograph electrical progress—but when you're installing miles of conduit inside a 71,600-square-foot distribution facility, A LOT is happening behind the scenes.

We're proud to be partnering with Perlo Construction on the new In-N-Out Burger Distribution Warehouse in Portland.

With the underground electrical work inside the building now complete, our team is pushing forward as framing progresses throughout the warehouse. Above the ceiling, miles of conduit are being installed to support power, lighting, equipment, refrigeration systems, and building infrastructure throughout the facility.
As the walls continue to take shape, the scale of this project is becoming easier to appreciate.

Strategically located near I-84 and I-205, this new distribution facility will help support In-N-Out Burger's growing presence throughout Oregon and Washington by streamlining the delivery of fresh ingredients to restaurants across the region.

Great work by our field crews and project team as we continue moving this project forward safely and efficiently.

We're excited to see this facility come together and contribute to the growth of one of the West Coast's most recognizable brands.

🏗️ Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center Project Update:

Eight months ago, construction officially began on the new Clackamas County Fair & Event Center facility, and we're excited to share the progress being made, along with some recent photos, courtesy of our partners at INLINE Commercial Construction, who were able to capture the site when we weren’t there.

Since breaking ground, the project has moved steadily through several major milestones. Underground utility work was completed in the fall, followed by slab placement, below-grade perimeter insulation, foundation drainage, backfill around the slab perimeter, and installation of the final storm drain catch basin. With structural steel erected and roof bracing in place, our team was able to begin electrical rough-in work and continue pushing the project forward.

Working alongside INLINE Construction and a talented group of contractors and trade partners has been a rewarding experience. Their teamwork, expertise, and dedication to safety have helped keep the project moving forward smoothly and efficiently.

We're grateful to our team here at Steele for their continued hard work and dedication. The building is really starting to take shape, and we're looking forward to closing it in and reaching the next phase of construction.

Steele Electric is hiring LEA Journeymen and Limited Energy Apprentices for upcoming prevailing wage school projects.

This is a great opportunity for strong pay, steady work, and a solid crew. These projects will move fast and may require background checks, long days, and a team-first attitude to help push through deadlines.

While some companies are laying off, we’re looking for their star players.

We’re looking for people who take pride in clean work, show up ready, communicate well, and want to be part of an A Team crew that cares about quality, safety, and reputation.

Experience with fire alarm, security, access control, data, CCTV, or other limited energy systems is a plus.

Another great project getting underway on the Oregon Coast 🌊⚡

We’re excited to be partnering with Bremik Construction on the new Explore Lincoln City Welcome Center project — a destination that will serve both visitors and the local community for years to come.

This recreation site is one of the most popular in the state, and the new Welcome Center is designed to create an inviting space where visitors and residents can gather while celebrating the natural beauty and cultural history of Lincoln City. Not to mention, it’s a pretty incredible setting for a jobsite.

Our team is currently onsite handling temporary power setup and utility coordination to help get this exciting project moving forward.

Scope of work includes:
• Temporary power setup
• Utility coordination
• Connection and provision of all equipment, vaults, and pedestals
• Complete re-route of Pacific Power infrastructure
• Site lighting installation
• Food truck power connections
• Future EV raceway infrastructure
• Circuitry, equipment, and fixture installation
• Excavation, trenching, and backfill
• Low Voltage/Technology work

The Forest Grove High School Viking House Open House is right around the corner--Saturday, May 30th from 12–4!

Steele Electric is proud to once again be part of this year’s project. The students, mentors, and partners have done an incredible job bringing this home to life.

From the clean modern lighting and beautiful kitchen finishes to the spacious living areas and custom details throughout, the craftsmanship and hard work truly stand out in every room.

These students have put in some serious work, and the results speak for themselves.

We’re honored to support a project that gives students hands-on experience while creating something they can be proud of.

Power is on and final inspection is complete at Southern Tire Mart in Aurora, OR! ⚡️
This new build with ACM Alpine Construction Management has been an exciting project for the Steele Electric team — and these photos show the process from start to finish.
From underground infrastructure to final lighting and energizing the building, our crew completed the full electrical installation, including:
🔹 New 600A electrical service
🔹 Complete interior & exterior lighting package
🔹 Lighting controls and devices throughout the facility
🔹 Underground service infrastructure and distribution systems

From trench work and conduit installation to final power-up, it’s always rewarding to see a project come together and ready for operation.
We’re proud of the craftsmanship, coordination, and teamwork that went into making this project a success.

Being a part of the Forest Grove Viking house was huge goal of Dan’s. He was excited when we got to take part years ago. Weston has been putting in the work every year since not only wiring a beautiful house but helping show the next generation of tradesmen and women working and learning on this project!

Plumbers and electricians are onsite this morning, finishing up. Jake Strother (Houla Creek Plumbing) and Weston Duyck (Steele Electric) were on the 2011 Viking House Crew!
