🚧 Standish Trail Project Update 🚧

Exciting progress continues on the Standish Trail Project!

Our team has been hard at work completing trail restoration efforts and preparing for asphalt. Significant progress has also been made with the installation of electrical conduit, helping lay the groundwork for future trail amenities and infrastructure.

Bridge construction has been completed by Owens Built LLC marking a major milestone in the project. Additionally, helical pile installation was successfully completed by GoliathTech Northern Michigan, providing the strong foundation needed to support the new bridge structure.

Thank you to all of our contractors, partners, and community members for their continued support as we work to create a safe, accessible, and enjoyable trail system for residents and visitors alike.

Even with plenty of rain along the way, Wilcox Contracting is proud to have completed the Harrison City Park Improvement Project just in time for the 2026 Harrison Little League season! ⚾🥎

This project brought major upgrades to the park, including new accessible parking areas, concrete pathways for improved accessibility throughout the fields, updated park amenities, and a new centralized gathering space featuring concession and restroom facilities. GFA provided full engineering, surveying and construction services for this fantastic addition to the City.

We’re grateful to have been part of a project that will create a welcoming space for players, families, and the entire community to enjoy for years to come!
