# Carpenter Apprentice
**Walnut Creek Customs, LLC** is looking to add a **Carpenter Apprentice** to our crew.
We are looking for someone who wants to learn the construction trade, takes pride in their work, and can be counted on to show up and put in an honest day's work. **Extensive construction experience is not required.** We are willing to train the right person.
# # # Starting Pay
**$16.00 per hour**
Compensation and position will be reviewed after a **90-day evaluation period** based on skill level, work ethic, reliability, quality of work, and ability to work independently.
At the 90-day review, the employee's classification and pay will be renegotiated based on demonstrated ability and whether they are best classified as an **Apprentice or Journeyman Carpenter**.

Our projects may include:
* Framing and post-frame construction
* Decks and exterior structures
* Roofing and metal installation
* Drywall and interior renovations
* Doors, trim, and finish carpentry
* Flooring
* General residential and light commercial construction
Previous construction or carpentry experience is a plus, but **attitude, reliability, integrity, and willingness to learn are more important than experience.**

**Starting Wage:** $16.00/hour
