Some of the most important work we've ever done was done this week.
Repaired a problematic sewer line for a wonderful veterinary clinic, there was a simple issue that occurred during the original installation and we believe we fixed it.
Garret spent a day at Cooper's BOCES campus giving the students of the heavy equipment class a (probably) once in a lifetime opportunity to try their hands at a cable excavator. He gave them a nice history lesson and some advice on being grateful for the modern machines of today because these old machines weren't just uncomfortable to operate, but also required a lot of skill to run efficiently and smoothly, which they quickly found out.
Garret spent a bit of time at a local elementary school with 4 different kindergarten classes explaining a little bit about his career, why it's important and integral to modern civilization, and mostly helping all of the kids find the horn button so they could push it.
We took a few minutes to see the historical Big Boy steam locomotive pass through with a special thanks to good friends for extending the invitation to view from their two different properties. Rollin was pretty excited.
We also spent a bit of time practicing for the NYS s***t championship. Gaven placed 2nd in his conference as an 8th grader shooting at the Varsity level. Congratulations Gaven and to all of the other shooters who show up, shoot hard and put in the work.
