As the finishing touches come together, we are very excited to share the new look of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Bowling Green Area.

The refreshed entrance was designed to reflect the Club's welcoming spirit, using warm materials, vibrant colors, and a modern aesthetic that reinforces its commitment to creating a place where every child feels they belong. Beyond the visual transformation, the project enhances security with a more controlled entry sequence while providing much-needed office space for the dedicated team working each day to make a lasting impact on our community.

It's been a privilege to partner with an organization whose mission reaches far beyond its walls, and we look forward to seeing this space continue to inspire, support, and serve the next generation.

We are excited to share conceptual renderings of the future home of the Muhlenberg County Humane Society.

These images represent more than a new facility—they reflect a shared vision, countless hours of dedication, and the commitment of many individuals working to create a better future for animals in the community.

The design features a bold, modern entrance that creates a welcoming first impression, along with a unique outdoor courtyard area designed to enhance the experience and well-being of the animals in their care.

As this vision moves closer to reality, the Humane Society of Muhlenberg County has officially begun its fundraising campaign. We encourage those who would like to learn more about the project or support their mission to visit their page for additional information.

We are honored to be part of a project that will serve both animals and the community for years to come.

Hawkins Abney is proud to welcome two Architectural Design Interns to our Summer 2026 Staff!

Elaine recently graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Science. We look forward to working with her this summer as she assists our team with current and upcoming projects.

Lydia is currently pursuing her Master of Architecture Degree and returned to our office this summer as an intern. If she looks familiar, that is because Lydia was the second employee to join the Hawkins Abney team in 2024! We are proud of her accomplishments in her graduate program, and we couldn't be happier to welcome her back.

We are thrilled to introduce and share the new TJ Health Smiths Grove.

This new 18,500sf facility on the eastern edge of Warren County brings together a rural health clinic featuring primary care and specialty medical services, along with a naturopathic suite, and one of Kentucky's first drive-through clinics in a thoughtfully designed, welcoming building. The project transforms a visible interchange site, becoming a landmark for accessible health care in the community.

The design approach emphasizes the integration of traditional medicine and holistic care, positioning the building as a hub for community health - designed to serve the region now and into the future.
