25 years ago where were you? I was in Sabine Pass piping in an air handler for the new school with the radio blasting when the first plane hit, most of the guys didn't hear the interruption but I did and thought how crazy it was in our modern times that an accident like that could happen, then the second plane hit and we all stopped, the job was shut down and everyone went to the old café by the 4 way stop because they had a TV and we all watched not believing what we were seeing. The lone PAPD officer that stayed in Sabine Pass then walked in and told us we had to leave, they were shutting the highways down as there was a fear that the plants would be the next target. I remember the fear, confusion and disbelief I felt as we were told to leave as soon and as fast as possible but that pales in comparison to what those involved in this gross loss of human life felt. To the victims and families of everyone involved, we will never forget!! Please share your story, where were you?
