It is written for both land surveyors and non-land surveyors alike. The eBook discusses basic land surveying problems, which are encountered in daily practice. A non-land surveyor may be able to read it in a few hours. If the problems are actually worked, it may take a land surveying student a month, or more, to go through it. A practicing land surveyor might be able to read it. while working the problems, in a week.

Here is a way to sign up to view the eBook How Land Surveyors solve problems you don't know you have (in ways you don't understand). It should be available May the 1st. It will be viewable on smart phones and tablets (as well as computers). It is presented on a unique platform, with real world examples of problems faced by Land Surveyors in everyday practice. Public Records (and quasi-Public Records) are incorporated into the text, so it is easy to follow and understand. It is written to appeal to non-land surveyors, like Real Estate Professionals and Lawyers, as well as Land Surveyors and aspiring Land Surveyors. If an aspiring Land Surveyor wants to actually work the problems within it, it could take as much as two weeks to go through it. A seasoned Land Surveyor might be able to go through it in eight hours, if they thoroughly examine the Real Property documents and models it presents. A non-Land Surveyor could probably go through it in approximately four hours, assuming they only glance as the underlying material supporting the text. My hope is this will benefit both the Public and the profession of Land Surveying.

I would like to thank the Land Surveyors and Engineers who attended the last webinar I spoke at on June 17, 2021. Overall they rated me 4, on a scale from 1 to 5 and I am thrilled what I had to say was of interest to the participants. Continuously examining codified law and case law is the only way to remain competent practicing land surveying and the attendees demonstrated their commitment to this principle by showing up to hear what I had to say.
