Standing water under your home? That’s a problem.
And right now, it’s an even bigger warning sign because we haven’t had significant rain in weeks.
Standing water beneath a home can mean poor drainage, low areas, or voids underneath the structure that are allowing water to collect. Over time, that moisture can contribute to soft soil, erosion, and foundation problems.
These two photos show our slurry pumping process on the same home.
➡️ Photo 1: Freshly pumped slurry flowing underneath the home, filling low areas and displacing the standing water.
➡️ Photo 2: The same area as the slurry begins to set and dry, leaving a solid, properly filled surface instead of an area where water can continue to stand.
If you can look underneath your home and see standing water after weeks without rain, don’t ignore it. Finding and correcting the problem now can help prevent much more expensive foundation issues later.
