A great home starts long before the foundation is poured.
We’ve been busy getting another homesite ready for construction, and site preparation is one of the most important stages of the entire building process.
Before construction begins, we evaluate and prepare the property so the home can be properly positioned and the work ahead can proceed efficiently. Depending on the site, that can include selective clearing, tree removal, access preparation, grading, drainage planning, erosion control, utility coordination and preparation for the foundation.
Here in the Lowcountry, getting this stage right is especially important. Existing trees, soil conditions, drainage, flood elevations and access can all influence how a home should be built and what it will ultimately cost.
The goal isn't simply to clear land. It's to prepare the property intentionally for everything that comes next.
