Today’s challenge involved removing two large chest freezers from a basement. The freezers were heavy, the staircase was narrow, and every step had to be planned to safely maneuver them out without damaging the home.

Today’s project was the demolition and removal of an old backyard shed that had seen better days.

While it may look like a straightforward demolition job, access was tight and there was a septic tank located directly in front of the shed. Bringing in the excavator wasn’t a practical option, so this one had to be demolished the old-fashioned way—by hand. Taking the structure apart piece by piece allowed us to get the job done safely while avoiding damage to the customer’s yard and septic system.

We loaded all debris for disposal, cleaned up the area, and left the homeowner with a blank slate for whatever comes next.

One of the things I enjoy most about demolition work is seeing the transformation. What started as an aging shed taking up space is now a clean, open area ready for a new purpose.

And, as a bonus, all of our hard work was rewarded with a blown trailer tire on the way home. 😆

Just another day in the junk removal and demolition business.

This 20-foot center console had definitely seen better days. The boat was packed with rotten debris and sitting in a tight wooded area, so we brought in the mini excavator to help break it down and get everything loaded safely and efficiently.

Old boats can be a challenge to remove—especially when they’re too damaged to tow or too wide to transport easily—but that’s where the right equipment makes all the difference.

By the end of the job:
✔️ Boat demolished and removed
✔️ Debris hauled to the landfill
✔️ Property cleaned back up
