We are hiring for multiples positions but as some of our summer help leaves we have two openings in our exclusion division. We will offer on the job training. As we lose two valuable team members our owner Blake is stepping in to help accommodate our customers exclusion needs. (So if you’re on our upcoming list, your timeline won’t change.)

-Pest control / wildlife control experience is a bonus, not a necessity as you would only be a second guy on the job until your skill set evolves.
-Comfort at heights is required (You’ll be offered all the training you need and all the proper safety equipment. Safety is our number one priority so we do not cheap out on this.)
-A winning attitude is a non negotiable for us. We are focused on hiring the right people for our culture and training them the rest of the way. This prevents cancer from infecting our culture.

POV - WHY DOES HUMANE BAT CONTROL COST SO MUCH?!

If it was easy to do it correctly, everyone would.

This work is time consuming, requires a ridiculous attention to detail, and constant thought / effort.

Not to mention the amount of training, continual education / certification courses, and constant upgrade to safety equipment so we can make it home to our families at the end of every long day.

To do this work properly takes a company who cares enough to solve your problem right the first time.

We have said from the beginning that we don’t have any interest in bidding for work or being the cheapest, we want to be the best.

We’ll keep working hard to continue our great word of mouth, our constant effort and always doing everything we can to do what’s right for both the animal and our customer.

GOT BATS?!

-Ever wonder why the company you hired to control your bats, didn’t?
-Ever wonder why the company you hired comes back yearly to charge you for the same thing and never seems to get the problem gone?
-Ever wonder why the company you hired has to “reapply” the same material year after year?

I can’t speak for other companies, but I can tell you that not everyone cares the same way we care.

What makes PEXT different in the way we do humane bat control?

This is a fun game we play here at PEXT called “the call back spot”.

We challenge our team to find these spots before we leave the job so that we can avoid coming back time and time again when the customer STILL has bats in their home.

We also do Quality Assurance on every single job BEFORE the season is over. This way you don’t have to wait until the following year to solve your problem again.

Why do we do this??

This is something we learned through our mistakes.

I won’t tell you that we have never had this issues we listed above before, but the difference is we cared enough to change.

How do bats get into my home??

Something we hear all the time…

“But I just had my (roof, siding, drip edges, gutters, etc) replaced! No way I have bats. They can’t get in!”

If we had a dollar for every time we heard this, we wouldn’t have to exclude bats anymore.. 😉

See pests and wildlife go up where everything else comes down.

Here is a great example on a beautiful project we’re working on in Madison, Connecticut where the customer has all new siding and metal work to keep the rain out but the bats are still able to gain entry.

There is a reason our industry exists.

This is very specialized work that takes a trained and skilled professional to do properly.
