Spotlight moment for these guys. π―
All but one of these guys are under 27 years old, and every one of them has been part of my journey growing Crayton Scapes since they were teenagers.
Eric β My big cousin, like my third brother. He's been rocking with me since day one in 2012. When he started, he didn't even have a driver's license. Fast forward to today, and he's my foreman running our residential maintenance crew. Proud of you, bro.
CB β Second season with us. Mr. Always On Time. Great kid who's always ready to work. He fit perfectly with our commercial crew and has become a valuable part of the team. I'm honestly going to be sad when he heads back to college. π―
Thomas β Went from being a D1 college quarterback to running our commercial maintenance division across Akron, Canton, and Youngstown. Five years ago he couldn't even string trim. Now he's one of the top guys in the company. Love this kid.
Tay β My little cousin. One of the originals who helped me get Crayton Scapes off the ground when he was just 15. You, Thomas, and Los were there during those early years cutting grass until 9 p.m., 6β7 days a week. By 19β20 years old, y'all were out running 35 lawns with an Exmark 30. One of the hardest workers I know.
Rob β I met Rob walking down the street pushing a mower when he was 15. I asked if he wanted a job, and the rest is history. The String Trim Goat. π
Kyle β The clown of the group... and also serving in the Army. I met him when he was still in high school, and he was always down to shovel snow. He's been back full-time for the last two seasons and has really grown into a great young man. Proud of you, G. π―
I'm missing one person in this picture, but I have to give a shout-out to Los. Without him and Tay, this journey might not have happened the way it did. You both played a huge role in helping build this company.
Blood or not, these guys are family. I wouldn't be where I am today without every one of you. Thank you for believing in the vision and helping build Crayton Scapes into what it is today. Love y'all. ππ―
