Follow for discounts! Apartment Building in Huntsville, Tx. Went out for a high water bill and ended up coming across this issue. We cut it out and replaced with PVC all the way to vent. Note: High water bill was a toilet running in upstairs vacant apartment. Cast Iron was a standard in residential 1900-1960s. Its history goes even further back for municipalities and industrial. This particular house was built in 1903 I believe. It’s now 4 separate units.

Restaurant restrooms stopped up. Emergency call. They always put a partition over floor drains. And if you notice drain is above the rest of the floor. Water goes away from drain. Recently remodeled.
