Ever have a pesky hole in the wall and no idea how to repair it? Well here is a rare behind the scenes step by step photos of a quick and easy repair.
1) Cut around the existing hole and make a nice easy square.
2) Cut new drywall in the same size square.
3) Use up that scrap lumber you've had in the basement for 10 years to cut a couple backer boards to go in the hole.
4) Attach new drywall in the hole.
5) Mud over the whole area and wait till dry.
6) Sand flat using a fine grit sander. Repeat the mud and sanding several times until smooth a s a baby's butt. And then your ready for paint.
