Leadership takes teamwork, a little creativity—and apparently, a seaworthy piece of cardboard. 🚣

Our CP leaders put both to the test with some friendly competition, including an unforgettable cardboard boat race.

And, naturally, the Red Team took the win!

It's important to get limber before a workday!

Stretching not only prepares our bodies and minds for a day in the field, but also gives us a chance to align and pursue success together.

To get clean energy—sometimes you've got to get a little dirty.

Here's to the countless men and women who touch dirt, constructing the infrastructure that gives marketing departments like ours something to write posts about.

Hats off to construction workers, especially those in clean energy, as we wrap up this Construction Worker Appreciation and National Clean Energy Week.

We're pointing our wheels North, South, East, and West and heading every which way to seek the best candidates for field engineer positions and internships.

Whether you're just starting college or soon to graduate—if you are driven to build, construct, and engineer, and are brimming with passion, ambition, and character—we want you.

Touch dirt.
Build the future.
Make your start here.

We'll see you next week.

Next week is National Su***de Prevention Week, and let's face it, the stats around su***de in construction hit hard. Construction workers experience about five times the su***de rate of the general population. Although they make up only 7.4% of the US workforce, they account for 17.9% of su***de deaths among workers whose industry was reported. Perhaps most alarming, su***de is the number one cause of death for construction workers.

That last one hits especially hard.

Change requires action, which is exactly why we are ingraining behavioral frameworks that directly address this serious problem. Our "See It, Say It, Control It." safety framework not only highlights how to handle physical safety dangers around the project site, but also gives us ways to frame, think, and talk about this serious problem.

Move beyond just awareness and follow this safety framework to understand what actions to take:

👁️ See It: Notice when someone seems off, withdrawn, irritable, exhausted, or just not themselves.
📢 Say It: Say something directly and gently. "You haven't seemed like yourself. I'm here, and I'm listening."
🧭 Control It: Don’t leave someone alone in it. Walk with them to a supervisor or help connect them with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline—the same way you’d stay with someone through any other hazard.

Listen to Evan Cable, our Director of EHS, address this extremely important topic.

Training is one of the most effective ways we can strengthen control, reduce uncertainty, and improve project outcomes.

To help keep our people safe, we’ve been conducting training across a range of real-world scenarios:

🚁 Responding rapidly and effectively to a traumatic incident
🐻 Staying safe during wildlife encounters
💓 Providing first aid, performing CPR, and using an AED during a medical emergency

Stay safe, stay prepared, and keep up the great work out there!

Welcome to the team! Mat Hennings joined the Conductor Power team as our Chief Financial Officer!

Mat brings more than 20 years of finance and executive leadership experience across telecommunications infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, and other growth-oriented businesses. Throughout his career, he has partnered with leadership teams to scale organizations, strengthen financial and operational processes, build high-performing teams, and create the visibility and discipline needed to support continued growth.

When asked about joining Conductor Power, Mat said, “What really attracted me to Conductor Power was the opportunity to be part of a company with tremendous growth potential and a leadership team that is genuinely focused on building something special. The people, culture, and entrepreneurial mindset stood out to me, as did the opportunity to help build the financial foundation and infrastructure that will support the company through its next phase of growth. I’m excited to roll up my sleeves, work alongside the team, and help make Conductor Power even better every day.”

As Chief Financial Officer, Mat will lead Conductor Power’s finance organization and support the company’s continued growth through strategic financial leadership, stronger systems and processes, disciplined planning, and operational insight. He will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen the company’s financial foundation while helping position Conductor Power for the opportunities ahead in renewable energy and power infrastructure.

Mat sees the opportunity at Conductor Power as much more than a new role. He is excited to join a team with a strong reputation for ex*****on, a commitment to its people, and an ambitious vision for the future. He looks forward to bringing his experience and perspective to the organization while learning from the talented team already in place.

We are excited to welcome Mat to the Conductor Power team and look forward to the experience, leadership, and perspective he brings as we continue building for the future.
