We want to make our community aware of someone reportedly going door to door in SE Portland offering construction work with nothing more than a handshake agreement. No business cards. No proof of licensing. No insurance information. No company credibility. Nothing. And they’re calling themselves Superior Exteriors- which is close to our name but not the same company at all. We are Superior Exterior Systems and we have high standards for the industry.

Sadly, we’ve already heard of a sweet homeowner being taken advantage of and even threatened. Please be careful.

⚠️ Here’s what to watch out for:
• Refuses to provide a written estimate or contract
• No CCB license number or proof of insurance
• No business card, website, or online presence
• Pressures you to “act now” or pay cash upfront
• Shows up unsolicited claiming they “noticed damage”
• Becomes aggressive or pushy when questioned

A legitimate contractor should ALWAYS be able to provide:
✔️ A valid license
✔️ Proof of insurance
✔️ A written contract
✔️ References and reviews
✔️ A professional online presence

Another great project! Such an amazing match with the house! Trex Lineage in Salt Flat with an Island Mist picture frame and waterfall edge. It turned out amazing! We topped it off with a Trex Signature Rod Rail railing in black. A really sharp look!
