✨Great story. Great family. Great home.
Some of our builds stand out because of their design. Others stand out because of the people behind them.
This one gave us both.
From the start, we knew this project was going to be something special. Along with building a beautiful custom home, we created one of the coolest outdoor spaces we’ve ever built. An air conditioned outdoor kitchen, an incredible entertaining area, a workshop, and dedicated boat storage. Around the job site it earned the nickname “The Bait Shop,” and honestly, we don’t think we’ll ever stop calling it that. 🎣
But what we’ll remember most isn’t the house.
It’s Griffin. 💙
At just 3 years old, he became our honorary crew member from the very beginning. Whether he was checking on progress, lending a helping hand, or asking questions far beyond his years, he made every visit to the job site better. Watching his excitement throughout the build was something we’ll never forget.
We also had another teammate we didn’t expect. Meagan’s dad, aka “Paw”, lives just down the road and showed up almost every day. Before we could even ask, he’d already be helping clean up, keeping an eye on things, and making sure the project stayed looking its best. His pride in seeing this home come together was obvious, and his help meant more than he probably realizes.
This project was personal in another way too. Meagan was Jackson’s first grade reading teacher, so we’ve appreciated her for years. Joey, on the other hand, was someone we barely knew when this all started.
Now… Todd would probably tell you Joey is one of his best buddies.
That’s one of the unexpected gifts of this business. We set out to build homes, but every now and then we’re reminded that the best thing we build is the friendships that come along with them.
Joey, Meagan, and Griffin, thank you for trusting Easley Builders with such a special project. We hope your family enjoys every cookout, every fishing trip, every game watched on the patio, and every memory made in this incredible home for many years to come. ❤️🏡
